Eufy is a household name for its easy-to-use robot vacuums. The Eufy RoboVac 30C is Wi-Fi enabled and comes with a wireless remote control to make it easy to use the app. It also has boundary strips and a battery that lasts for 100 minutes.
Its Boost IQ Technology is able to move from wood, tile and area rugs, to low-pile and area rugs. Other standard features include obstacle and drop detection, which allows it to avoid hitting walls and furniture.
Boost IQ Technology
The Eufy robotic vacuum line comes with many models. However, certain features are common to all models. Boost IQ is one of those features that allows your robot to move effortlessly from hard floors to medium to low pile carpeting and area carpets. It will automatically increase its suction power when it comes across a certain surface type in order to get the most effective cleaning possible.
A useful feature is the manual switch between cleaning modes. The eufy RoboVac does a great job of removing pet hair, but it may need to make a few more passes to remove hairy patches from low- and high pile carpeting. Like many robotic cleaners, it's not as adept in getting hair out of cracks and crevices as it is with floors that are bare however, it does a great job of removing pet hair from bare and carpeted surfaces.
100 Minutes of Cleaning
The eufy robotic vacuum can provide an impressive 100 minutes of clean-up, with an automatic return to its base for charging. It is able to work on multiple floors and comes with an efficient vacuum that can clean anything from cereal crumbs to glitter specks. It has a durable brush roll and a side brush that can help it get into crevices and corners that other robots may not be able to reach.
The robo-vacuum powered by batteries can be operated via the remote control provided or by sending commands via Wi-Fi using your smartphone or smart-home assistant. You can also alter the Boost IQ feature, which optimizes suction power based on the kind of floor it is working on.
The G30 Edge, like other eufy robotics are designed to move around your home in a minimally-setup way. Simply attach the edge brush that rotates and connect to your Wi-Fi in only a few minutes. Once connected, the app allows users to create cleaning routines and utilize voice commands with a smart home speaker compatible.
